Our clients loved the modern mountain timberframe style and we collaborated to incorporate creative design elements into their space.
The full douglas fir timberframe, timber and steel combination trusses with douglas fir T&G ceiling paneling features dramatic elements such as a 34ft free span truss. Rather than straight rafters and beams in the main floor the architect created what has become known as the ‘snowflake’ - an intricate steel truss lighter than heavy beams but structurally stronger.
This beautiful modern mountain timberframe is now a loved space for family gatherings.
